Quality Excellence Award 2010 - Brilliant distinction for Holiday Inn Thessaloniki - 19/01/2011
The Quality Excellence Award 2010, Intercontinental Hotels Group's great distinction, has been awarded to Holiday Inn Thessaloniki and to other 59 hotels, among 900 hotels that are owned or controlled by the international group in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
This particular award recognises hotels that go the extra mile to achieve outstanding levels of service, measured by Intercontinental Hotels Group Overall Satisfaction Index which is compiled using guest feedback and overall standards compliance. In specific, the Guest Satisfaction Tracking System is compiled using data gained from surveys by randomly selected guests during their stay. Guests are asked to rate the hotel on different criteria. The score that it comes out in combination with the qualitative controls materialized on annual basis, is used for each hotel’s evaluation. The “Quality Excellence Award 2010” awarded to those hotels achieved to be in the top 7% of the highest scorers. Holiday Inn Thessaloniki with the succeeded high score, gained this special prize. It is noteworthy that Holiday Inn Thessaloniki has been already awarded three times with the greatest awards by “Intercontinental Hotels Group”.
